A record shop in a former church.
Assumption Records is run by Noelle and Patrick Kolb at 207 Clayton Street — the former Assumption Catholic Church. They started selling by mail around 2010 in Richmond, Virginia, moved to West Virginia in 2013, and opened the shop in 2014.
Inside: used and new vinyl, Assumption and band t-shirts, and Pristine Platters. In April they host Record Store Day in the shop. The store appears in Bob Tinnell’s movie Feast of the Seven Fishes.
